Warner, Patrick


Patrick Warner has published two collections of poetry. His first collection, All Manner of Misunderstanding, was short listed for the Atlantic Poetry Prize in 2002. His second collection, There, there, published by Signal Editions (2005), was awarded the E.J. Pratt Award for poetry in 2007. His poetry has been anthologized in Coastlines: The Poetry of Atlantic Canada, in Backyards of Heaven: an anthology of Newfoundland and Irish poetry, and in The New Canon: an anthology of Canadian Poetry. A new collection of poems, Mole, is forthcoming from House of Anansi Press in the spring of 2009.

Patrick Warner grew up Claremorris, Co. Mayo, Ireland, but now lives in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Patrick Warner's short fiction appears in the EarLit Shorts 3 anthology.
